Fotballklubben Haugesund is a Norwegian football club from the city of Haugesund. It was founded on October 28, 1993, after a merger between the football clubs Djerv 1919 and SK Haugar. FK Haugesund played in Tippeligaen in 1997, 1998, 2000, 2010, 2011, 2012 and in 2013. In 2007, FK Haugesund reached the Norwegian cup final, where they lost 0-2 to Lillestrøm SK. They got promoted back to Tippeligaen by winning Adeccoligaen 2009.

Norwegian 1. Divisjon

The Norwegian First Division (Norwegian: 1. divisjon) is a professional league in the second highest division of the Norwegian football league system. The league was established in 1948 following a reorganization of the Norwegian league system. From the 2015 season, it will be branded as OBOS-ligaen, after a six-year deal was agreed with the housing cooperative OBOS. Formally, it was a semi-professional league.
