Club Unión Española S.A.D.P is a professional Chilean football based in Independencia, Santiago de Chile. Founded by a group of Spanish immigrants on May 18, 1897, Unión Española have participated in the top-tier of Chilean football for all of their existence, except two seasons (1997 and 1998). Unión Española has won Primera División seven times, behind Colo-Colo (31), Universidad de Chile (18) and Universidad Católica (12), as well as winning two Copa Chile titles. Club Deportes Recoleta is an association football club of Chile of the commune of Recoleta, situated in the town of Santiago. It was the champion of the Tercera División B in 2015 and at present plays in the Segunda Division of Chile, the third level of Chilean football.
Campeonato Primera B (English: Chilean First B Division) is the second tier in the Chilean football league system, and is organized by the Asociación Nacional de Fútbol Profesional. It was established in 1952 as Segunda División, and later renamed in 1996 to the current name. Since 1954, automatic promotion to and relegation from Campeonato Nacional has been granted, although Palestino and Rangers were promoted to the top flight in the first season.
