Íþróttafélagið Völsungur (Icelandic pronunciation: , lit. 'Völsungur Sports Club') is an Icelandic multi-sport club from the town of Húsavík located on the north coast of Iceland on the shores of Skjálfandi bay. The club was founded on 12 April 1927 by around 25-28 boys, aged between 11 and 14 years old. The first president of the club was Jakob Hafstein. In 1933, the first girls joined the club.

Íþróttafélagið Grótta (English: Grótta Sports Club) is an Icelandic sports club based in the town of Seltjarnarnes, in the Capital Region. The club is best known for its women's handball team that won the national championship in 2015 and 2016, but also has departments for gymnastics, football and powerlifting.

1. deild karla, known as Inkasso-deild karla (The Inkasso League) for sponsorship reasons, is a football league in Iceland. It is the second highest professional level in the Icelandic football league system. The league was founded in 1955 and current champions are ÍA. The league was expanded to 12 teams for the 2007 season, after having only 10 teams for many years. Since 2008 the top three divisions have all had 12 teams.
