Paraguayan División Intermedia
General Caballero Club is a soccer club from Paraguay, from the city of Dr. Juan León Mallorquín (formerly Ka'arendy) in the Alto Paraná department. It was founded on June 21, 1962, being one of the founding clubs of the Ka'arendy Soccer League. In 2018 it achieved its promotion to the Second Division of Paraguay, in which it will be in the military since 2019. It is popularly identified as General Caballero JLM to differentiate it from other clubs with the same denomination in the different divisions of the Paraguayan Soccer Association.
Paraguayan División Intermedia
Encarnación Fútbol Club, or simply Encarnación FC, is a football club from the city of the same name, in Paraguay. It was founded on February 28, 2023, based on the clubs of the Liga Encarnacena de Fútbol, whose team obtained the right to compete in the División Intermedia, second division of Paraguayan football league system, after being crowned champion of the Campeonato Nacional de Interligas in the 2022–23 season.
The División Intermedia (English: Intermediate Division), also known as the Segunda División (English: Second Division), is the second highest professional football league in Paraguay. It is organized by the Asociación Paraguaya de Fútbol.
