With the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie leaving no wiggle room whatsoever, disqualification was the only option.[/p][p]Racing BMW duo Dan Harper and [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/pepper-jordan/EBjxY1lr/"]Jordan Pepper[/a] were named winners of the NLS2 race following Winward's disqualification.[/p][embed guid="5bc263b4-1881-4fed-be08-874f692fb0e4" url="https://x.com/Motorsport/status/2035431981182255181?s=20" social-type="twitter" /][p]Competing in the GT3 class, Verstappen grabbed pole position on the full 24.358-kilometre configuration of the Nürburgring by nearly two seconds and then helped his team win the race by almost exactly a minute.[/p][p]The race win was a welcome break for Verstappen, who finished sixth in the F1 season opeer in Australia on March 8th before failing to finish in Shanghai last Sunday. He returns to Asia for the Japan Grand Prix next Sunday.[/p]
