Real Madrid have suffered a double blow after Arda Guler and Eder Militao were ruled out for the remainder ‌of the season with hamstring injuries, the club confirmed.

[p]According ‌to club sources, the pair are ‌expected to be sidelined for around four ‌weeks but should recover in time for ‌the World Cup, which kicks off in less than 50 days.[/p][p][a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/guler-arda/CUU9qDpb/"]Guler[/a]'s setback came in the final ‌training session before [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/game/soccer/betis-vJbTeCGP/real-madrid-W8mj7MDD/?mid=lfKIYGgU"]Friday's meeting[/a] with [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/betis/vJbTeCGP/"]Real Betis[/a]. ‌Muscle discomfort forced the Turkish midfielder to remain in the gym and skip group work, and subsequent tests diagnosed a muscle injury to the hamstring in his right leg.[/p][embed guid="ca9dea76-a4cf-4e8b-b55c-a027e23f8939" url="https://x.com/realmadriden/status/2047269753551474962" social-type="twitter" /][p][a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/eder-militao/zX2Rm9YG/"]Militao[/a]'s injury was more immediate and more visible. The sides meet in a Spanish Clasico at Camp Nou on May 10th, where Barcelona could seal the title for a second successive season with victory over ‌their old rivals.[/p]
