The final round of the season in Serie A, LaLiga, and the Premier League brought surprises and incredible endings, but it was also the lower leagues that added a special flavour to the weekend just gone by.

[p]For the final time of the campaign, here are Flashscore's Winners and Losers.[/p][p][a href="https://open.spotify.com/episode/4TLrUJ8RRMpxC9yzJEwbO1?si=aDCzlmvGRNuwDL3U-YOzuw" target="_blank"]Listen to the audio version of this article on Spotify[/a][/p]
Winners: [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/hull-city/S66R0t75/"]Hull City[/a]
[p]The Tigers' promotion to the Premier League is nothing short of incredible: having narrowly avoided relegation last year and coming off a two-window transfer ban, they pulled off the feat of reaching the top flight after knocking out Millwall and then delivering a clinical 1-0 win over Middlesbrough in the playoff final at Wembley, thanks to a late strike from [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/mcburnie-oliver/rNFSg6i4/"]Oli McBurnie[/a] in stoppage time.[/p][embed guid="682b546a-4bc9-4097-b880-e7a37204da19" url="https://x.com/xGPhilosophy/status/2058225530407723469?s=20" social-type="twitter" /]
Winner: [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/de-zerbi-roberto/pYizckpN/"]Roberto De Zerbi[/a]
[p]Staying in England, the Italian coach managed to avoid a shocking relegation to the Championship by steering [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/tottenham/UDg08Ohm/"]Tottenham[/a] to safety on the final day of the season, after a 1-0 win over Everton.[/p][image alt="The final standings for Tottenham in the Premier League" id="61f81c97-936a-43fb-a550-2a708fd84ee7" credit-line="Flashscore" guid="55e3357f-4891-4a53-b202-1afca3ed09a4" original-width="1200" original-height="1200" /][p]Spurs managed to prevail over their city rivals West Ham, who were relegated despite a convincing win over Leeds, which wasn't enough to close the two-point gap to their direct competitors.[/p][p]For Tottenham, it would have been an epic failure, but the former Marseille manager handled the immense pressure of having to avoid disaster at all costs.[/p]
Winners: [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/dep-la-coruna/Q51ZzMS6/"]Deportivo La Coruna[/a]
[p]Thanks to a 2-0 win away at Valladolid, the Galician side finished the regular season in second place with a round to spare and will play in LaLiga next year, alongside another fallen giant, Racing Santander.[/p][p]Depor had been relegated in 2018 and even found themselves in the third tier before finding a way back to top-level football.[/p][embed guid="8151f1d2-8b44-45ce-9ab9-513db0b25347" url="https://x.com/RCDeportivo/status/2058616126569906398?s=20" social-type="twitter" /][p]The historic Spanish club, which won the LaLiga title in 2000 and famously beat Milan 4-0 in the 2004 Champions League, and have now returned to the big time.[/p]
Winners: [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/getafe/dboeiWOt/"]Getafe[/a]
[p]Among the drama of the final LaLiga round is Getafe's qualification for the Conference League: it's not the first time the Azulones have gone to Europe, but this time the achievement is truly remarkable.[/p][p]Bordalas' team finished the season with just 32 goals scored in 38 matches and the lowest possession rate (40.1%).[/p][p]Of course, mathematically clinching seventh place (and to think the club could have even finished sixth) could only come with a 1-0 win this time, over Osasuna.[/p]
Winners: [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/torreense/8jQErKhN/"]Torreense[/a]
[p]This week's fairytale belongs to the small Portuguese club, who managed to win the Taca de Portugal in extra time against the illustrious Sporting.[/p][p]The team from Torres Vedras thus becomes the first second-division side to win the Portuguese Cup. Prague[/a]
[p]Something almost unimaginable happened in the Czech league: Dukla Prague lost the head-to-head, all-or-nothing clash with Banik Ostrava and were relegated to the second Scudetto and managed to beat Inter twice, collapsed at the final hurdle.[/p][image alt="Luka Modric" id="7dfa3f06-9ea4-470c-826f-13fade652bec" credit-line="REUTERS/Daniele Mascolo" conceding 13 goals: Lechia's biggest flaw turned out to be their defence, the worst in the league along with Termalica B-B, with 65 goals conceded.[/p][image alt="Lechia Gdansk's poor form to finish Sudtirol, after two 0-0 draws.[/p][p]The Galletti endured a very disappointing season, always hovering near the bottom of the table, so the outcome was hardly a surprise.[/p][p]For the club owned by the De Laurentiis family, the same as Napoli, a season in the third tier now awaits, where they'll face new derbies against Monopoli, Barletta, and Altamura.[/p]
Losers: [a several iconic players such as Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Axel Witsel, Donny van de Beek, Cristhian Stuani, Daley Blind, Claudio Echeverri, Azzedine Ounahi, and Bryan Gil. [/p]
Special mentions
[p]In such an eventful weekend, let's not forget the achievements of [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/sunderland/WSzc94ws/"]Sunderland[/a], who qualified for the next Europa League as a newly promoted side, and [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/como/ttyLthOA/"]Como[/a], who overtook Milan at the very last moment to secure a Champions League spot.[/p][embed
