Matt Boldy scored the overtime game-winner as the Minnesota Wild defeated the Dallas Stars 3-2 in Game 4 on Saturday to tie the series up 2-2.

[p]The goal marked [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/boldy-matthew/Uo8KxuyO/"]Boldy[/a]'s third of the playoffs as the series will now head back to [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/dallas-stars/vVAvnIuC/"]Dallas[/a] for Game 5 on April 28th. [/p][p]Both goaltenders, [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/oettinger-jake/fkHJeW0T/"]Jake Oettinger[/a] (DAL - 42) and [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/wallstedt-jesper/OjlzZAgi/"]Jesper Wallstedt[/a] (MIN - 41), combined for a whopping 83 saves.[/p][p]The game-winner came shortly after Oettinger made a jaw-dropping save against Boldy that kept the Stars' hopes alive. Boldy originally had scored another game-winner earlier in overtime, but it was waved off after it was an obvious kick-in.[/p][embed guid="c8415d7d-c965-428f-961f-8897889f48c5" url="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z8T-aXBnlDY" social-type="youtube" /]
Recap & Highlights
[p][a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/hartman-ryan/hp1XmbfH/"]Ryan Hartman[/a] committed the first penalty of the game for goaltender interference that put Dallas on a power play just five minutes from puck drop, and the [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/dallas-stars/vVAvnIuC/"]Stars[/a] didn't waste time taking advantage.[/p][p][a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/robertson-jason/bZecfUHu/"]Jason Robertson[/a] stayed hot after scoring his fourth goal of the series, with assists from [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/duchene-matt/z3asHHNm/"]Matt Duchene[/a] and [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/rantanen-mikko/KKrokdOi/"]Mikko Rantanen[/a], to give Dallas an early [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/game/hockey/dallas-stars-vVAvnIuC/minnesota-wild-j9Ck7BHi/?mid=p8aFmsPG"]1-0[/a] lead one minute into the power play. [/p][p]He became just the second player in franchise history to put up a four-game opening goal streak, joining Steve Payne (1981).[/p][embed guid="8b64720e-0a88-4f55-8022-505ccad214e5" url="https://x.com/NHL/status/2048160054168183219?s=20" social-type="twitter" /][p][a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/minnesota-wild/j9Ck7BHi/"]Minnesota[/a] would miss out on scoring during three power play opportunities in the first period, but they still managed to tie it with under five minutes left. [/p][p][a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/faber-brock/Wf0jDNit/"]Brock Faber[/a] scored his third goal of the series to tie it [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/game/hockey/dallas-stars-vVAvnIuC/minnesota-wild-j9Ck7BHi/?mid=p8aFmsPG"]1-1[/a] as he became the first defenseman in Stars history with at least three goals in a playoff series. [/p][p][a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/kaprizov-kirill/dUVy6hct/"]Kirill Kaprizov[/a] picked up his fourth assist of the series as Minnesota entered the second outshooting Dallas 14-11, but that would change drastically in the second. [/p][embed guid="6e5bee28-748a-481c-800d-b1220a9a621a" url="https://x.com/mnwild/status/2048164724118831133?s=20" social-type="twitter" /][p]Despite the Wild committing only one penalty in the second period, the Stars took advantage of the power play yet again. [/p][p][a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/heiskanen-miro/bNHedyM4/"]Miro Heiskanen[/a] scored his first goal of the series, 18th of his career, as he extended the franchise record for most playoff goals by a defenseman as the Stars went up [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/game/hockey/dallas-stars-vVAvnIuC/minnesota-wild-j9Ck7BHi/?mid=p8aFmsPG"]2-1[/a]. [/p][p]Duchene and Ranten picked up the assist on Heiskanen's goal as well, marking nine combined assists from the Stars duo this series.
