[p]AGF played for all 90 minutes with the intention of taking the victory that could allow them to recapture top spot in the league, which they have lost after squandering a seven-point lead over recent weeks. [/p][p]But [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/midtjylland/8GZDmdbB/"]FC Midtjylland[/a] defended well and used all means to defend their leading position in the Danish Superliga. The visitors also had the biggest chances in the first half, but especially South Korean striker [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/cho-kyu-sung/Kb3dhzfM/"]Cho Gue-sung[/a] had a night to forget.[/p][p]At the other end, AGF also had chances to score, but [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/andersen-jacob/Aq9HJu2o/"]Jakob Andersen[/a], among others, missed his goal attempt. Ten minutes before the break, [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/hansen-jesper/b1grbWwo/"]Jesper Hansen[/a] dished out a good save when Cho Gue-sung again had a chance on the edge of the box.[/p][image alt="AGF - FC Mdtjylland - Player ratings" id="762a14ee-5b52-400b-a24a-4ac25eb428cb" credit-line="Flashare" guid="ef63a993-de7e-4a82-9219-eb6141982d94" original-width="1200" original-height="1200" /][p]The second half followed a similar scenario when Cho Gue-sung was denied by AGF-goalkeeper Jesper Hansen after an otherwise superb lay-up by Aral Simsir. [/p][p]AGF coach Jakob Poulsen replaced [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/serra-janni-luca/Sj1nU4Ob/"]Janni Serra[/a] with striker [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/mortensen-patrick/EeKfyzVe/"]Patrick Mortensen[/a] at the start of the second half, but he too could not break the deadlock in front of the 11,335 spectators, a record at the temporary stadium in Vejlby.[/p][p]When the ball danced on the goal line in front of AGF strikers Patrick Mortensen and Tobias Bech, FC Midtjylland midfield ace Pedro Bravo rushed to the rescue and cleared the ball over the goal.[/p][p]As a result, [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/game/soccer/aarhus-OOXnKGbO/midtjylland-8GZDmdbB/?mid=tITQGHW0"]it ended goalless in Aarhus[/a], and FC Midtjylland is a small step closer to winning the Danish championship.[/p]
