[p]The 25-year-old German midfield powerhouse was thought to be [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/newcastle-utd/p6ahwuwJ/"]Newcastle United[/a]'s preferred option should captain [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/bruno-guimaraes/xtyKanzU/"]Bruno Guimaraes[/a] decide to join [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/gordon-anthony/EFo95m2P/"]Anthony Gordon[/a] and leave the Magpies in this summer's transfer window.[/p]
Nmecha only wants a Manchester club
[p]However, reports in Germany would suggest that the player has no interest in moving to Tyneside. Furthermore, it's believed that Manchester is a destination he likes, with the only choice being between United and City.[/p][p]Given that it's understood that the [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/manchester-united/ppjDR086/"]Red Devils[/a] have already been in direct contact, they've stolen a march on their rivals, for the time being at least.[/p][image alt="Felix Nmecha touch map - Why this summer is the right time for Man Utd to try and sign Dortmund's Nmecha
Sometimes the stars align in ways that can scarcely be imagined, and there's certainly some serendipity as far as Man Utd's pursuit of Felix Nmecha is concerned.
