Sick striker isolated from the rest of Norwegian squad before clash against Iraq

Crystal Palace striker Jorgen Strand Larsen has been isolated from the rest of the Norwegian squad as he has been affected by illness leading up to Norway's first match in the World Cup on 17 June against Iraq.

[p]Last night, the Norwegian national team arrived in Boston, and Monday night, the national team had its first training session at the training ground in Foxborough, Massachusetts. But [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/larsen-jorgen/lQ5EYyWg/"]Jorgen Strand[/a] Larsen was missing from the rest of the squad as he has caught fever leading up to the clash against [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/iraq/K8aAGt6r/"]Iraq[/a]. [/p][p][b]"He has caught some fever", says national team coach Stale [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/solbakken-stale/pxok8eTM/"]Solbakken[/a]. Sand says that Strand Larsen sat at the back of the plane to Boston wearing a face mask. He is now isolated in his own room.[/p][p]Regarding the 26-year-old's chances of making an impact for [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/norway/8rP6JO0H/"]Norway[/a] later in the tournament, Solbakken says:[/p][p][b]"I spoke to him today. It's not like he's terminally ill, because then we wouldn't have brought him here.
