An all-Czech final could be on the cards at Wimbledon this year. Everything will be decided by Thursday's schedule, which features both women's singles semi-finals. Karolina Muchova faces a tough test against her frequent nemesis, American star Coco Gauff. Linda Noskova also comes up against a dangerous opponent, as Marta Kostyuk is currently enjoying the finest form of her career.
[a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/game/tennis/gauff-c-f5BXmEH6/muchova-k-Or4Qa1ye/?mid=EmRnuCHs"]Muchova vs Gauff - 14:30 CET[/a]

Match news and form
[p][a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/gauff-coco/f5BXmEH6/"]Coco Gauff[/a] keeps the dream of winning her third Grand Slam title alive after defeating compatriot and fellow top-tenner Jessica Pegula, 4-6, 6-3, 6-3, in an hour and 48 minutes on Tuesday. It was her fourth consecutive three-set win at the tournament and the second from a set down.[/p][p]Gauff arrived at Wimbledon with a four-match losing streak on grass courts, having failed to win a single match on the surface last year. This was her worst Grand Slam event, where she had never gone past the round-of-16 stage despite three previous attempts.[/p][p]The American, who has been prevented from winning a title in the 2026 season so far, scripted marathon wins over Solana Sierra and Claire Liu in the second and third rounds, and later rallied from a set deficit against Belinda Bencic. She is now on the cusp of her first-ever grass-court final.[/p][p][a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/muchova-karolina/Or4Qa1ye/"]Karolina Muchova[/a] started the campaign with a 0-4 performance at Wimbledon since 2022. Nevertheless, she has carried forward her successful summer on grass courts after storming into her maiden Wimbledon semi-final despite meeting stiff resistance in the last two rounds.[/p][p]Muchova brushed off Anastasia Zakharova, Shuai Zhang, and Mananchaya Sawangkaew in straight sets before requiring a deciding set against 2024 champion Barbora Krejcikova and a tiebreak against Naomi Osaka. In the end, the Czech extended her winning streak on grass to nine matches.[/p][p]Unlike Gauff, Muchova has been having a consistent season from the very first week, leading to titles in Doha and Bad Homburg, the latter being her maiden grass-court trophy, a runner-up finish in Stuttgart and semi-finals in Brisbane and Miami. Ranked 20th in January, she is now firmly in the top 10.[/p][embed guid="63501a9b-c6eb-40d1-9981-b32297bb300f" url="https://x.com/josemorgado/status/2074538480265212143" social-type="twitter" /]
Head-to-head
[p]Gauff leads 6-1, including prevailing at the Australian Open and Miami earlier this season. Muchova won their first non-hard-court encounter in Stuttgart a few weeks ago, 6-3, 5-7, 6-3. The pair have never met on grass.[/p]
Stats & facts
[p]Gauff has a 3-2 career record in Grand Slam semi-finals, converting the latest one into a title at the 2025 Roland-Garros.[/p][p]Gauff had never claimed multiple top-11 wins in a single grass-court outing until this fortnight.[/p][p]Muchova stands 1-3 in Grand Slam semi-finals, having only become the runner-up at Roland-Garros in 2023.[/p][p]Muchova has won ten matches on grass this year, exceeding her combined victory count from 2021 to 2025.[/p]
Betting analysis
[p]Muchova would be regarded as having a better track record on grass than Gauff coming into this tournament. However, that is all out of the window as both break new ground on the surface. Gauff is the only one of the semi-finalists who has the experience of winning a Grand Slam, and therefore, is considered a safer choice in this match-up, even as the odds favor neither.[/p][embed guid="68f0bfa1-c05e-4218-ab45-5f09d1c12734" url="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JYN9KIpQKNE" social-type="youtube" /]
Muchova in 2026
[p]Best results: Bad Homburg, Doha (title); Stuttgart (final)[/p][p]Best results on grass: Bad Homburg (title)[/p][p]Record: 34-8[/p][p]Record in the last 10 matches: 9-1[/p][p]Record on grass: 10-1[/p][p]Record against top-10 players: 5-5 (career 20-29)[/p][p]Record in Grand Slam semi-finals: 0-0 (career 1-3)[/p][p]Record in semi-finals: 3-2 (career 9-10)[/p][p]Grand Slams: Australian Open (round of 16), French Open (round of 32)[/p]
Muchova at Wimbledon
[p]Career record: 13-6[/p][p]Best result: semi-finals (2026)[/p][p]Last year's result: round of 128[/p][p]Record in semi-finals: 0-0[/p][p]Preparation: Berlin (round of 16), Bad Homburg (title)[/p][p]Road to the semi-finals: Zakharova (6-3, 6-2), Shuai Zhang (6-3, 6-2), Sawangkaew (6-2, 7-6), Krejcikova (7-5, 5-7, 6-3), (14) Osaka (7-6, 6-4)[/p]
Gauff in 2026
[p]Best results: Rome, Miami (final)[/p][p]Best results on grass: Wimbledon (semi-finals)[/p][p]Record: 31-11[/p][p]Record in the last 10 matches: 7-3[/p][p]Record on grass: 5-1[/p][p]Record against top-10 players: 3-3 (career 36-39)[/p][p]Record in Grand Slam semi-finals: 0-0 (career 3-2)[/p][p]Record in semi-finals: 2-1 (career 16-17)[/p][p]Grand Slams: Australian Open (quarter-finals), French Open (round of 32)[/p]
Gauff at Wimbledon
[p]Career record: 16-6[/p][p]Best result: semi-finals (2026)[/p][p]Last year's result: round of 128[/p][p]Record in semi-finals: 0-0[/p][p]Preparation: Berlin (round of 16)[/p][p]Road to the semi-finals: Korpatsch (6-2, 6-1), Sierra (6-3, 3-6, 7-6), Liu (6-3, 6-7, 6-2), (11) Bencic (4-6, 6-3, 6-4), (4) Pegula (4-6, 6-3, 6-3)[/p]
[a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/game/tennis/kostyuk-m-8CZqQdSa/noskova-l-zHMiAkw6/?mid=xfGKOsMH"]Kostyuk vs Noskova - 16:00 CET[/a]

Match news and form
[p][a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/kostyuk-marta/8CZqQdSa/"]Marta Kostyuk[/a] backs up her first career Grand Slam semi-final appearance at Roland-Garros with a second one at Wimbledon. She demolished an error-spraying Jasmine Paolini, 6-3, 6-2, in the quarter-finals to continue marching at an event where she had previously never gone past the third round.[/p][p]Earlier this season, the Ukrainian picked up an ankle injury during her first-round loss at the Australian Open, was forced to skip the entire Middle East swing, and scored just two wins across Indian Wells and Miami. In response, she has now won 22 of her last 23 matches since the start of April.[/p][p]Kostyuk picked up her second and third career titles in Rouen and Madrid, and upset Iga Swiatek and Elina Svitolina en route to a semi-final finish at Roland-Garros. The 24-year-old has extended her magic on grass, a surface on which she had never appeared in a quarter-final and had gone 0-3 in 2025.[/p][p][a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/noskova-linda/zHMiAkw6/"]Linda Noskova[/a] stopped the resurgent run of Elise Mertens, 6-3, 7-5, and has surged into her maiden Grand Slam semi-final. After barely surviving Camila Osorio and Sorana Cirstea in three, and Madison Keys in two close sets, she has put up a new best Slam run, exceeding her 2024 Melbourne result.[/p][p]Notwithstanding the first-round loss to Elena-Gabriela Ruse in Bad Homburg, which was likely the result of fatigue, Noskova had laid down the marker in the grass-court season when she won a WTA 500 title in Berlin. She defeated Jessica Pegula in three sets in the final for only her second WTA title.[/p][p]Although there have been periods of inconsistency, including when she failed to win back-to-back matches in four of her first six tournaments of the season, there is no denying Noskova has been breaking barriers in recent times. Four of her seven tour finals have come in the last 12 months.[/p][embed guid="108a1760-4df1-4a68-bf81-d576169a05f0" url="https://x.com/josemorgado/status/2074852590106374511" social-type="twitter" /]
Head-to-head
[p]Kostyuk leads 1-0. The pair met a few months ago in the quarter-finals of Madrid, where the Ukrainian won a pair of contrasting sets to prevail 7-6, 6-0 on clay courts.[/p]
Stats & facts
[p]Kostyuk lost to Mirra Andreeva, 6-1, 6-3, when she played her first Grand Slam semi-final in Paris a few weeks ago.[/p][p]Kostyuk also seeks to become the first Ukrainian to reach a Grand Slam singles final.[/p][p]Noskova has won ten matches on grass this year, compared to twelve across all past seasons combined.[/p][p]Noskova has won four of her last five meetings with top-15 players.[/p]
Betting analysis
[p]It is natural that the clash between the World No. 12 and 13 for a spot in the Grand Slam final has led to near-even odds. Kostyuk would have the minute advantage owing to her relentless performances since April, while Noskova, despite the title in Berlin, has shown moments of weakness in the same period.[/p][embed guid="c9f13e65-0fab-4b8b-9f4f-f1fd1daddbe6" url="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ukrX1TdCuoQ" social-type="youtube" /]
Kostyuk in 2026
[p]Best results: Madrid, Rouen (title); Brisbane (final)[/p][p]Best results on grass: first tournament[/p][p]Record: 28-5[/p][p]Record in the last 10 matches: 9-1[/p][p]Record on grass: 5-0[/p][p]Record against top-20 players: 9-4 (career 23-52)[/p][p]Record in Grand Slam semi-finals: 0-1 (career 0-1)[/p][p]Record in semi-finals: 3-1 (career 6-5)[/p][p]Grand Slams: Australian Open (round of 128), French Open (semi-finals)[/p]
Kostyuk at Wimbledon
[p]Career record: 11-5[/p][p]Best result: semi-finals (2026)[/p][p]Last year's result: round of 128[/p][p]Record in semi-finals: 0-0[/p][p]Preparation: none[/p][p]Road to the semi-finals: Podoroska (6-1, 6-2), Blinkova (6-7, 6-3, 6-3), (23) Navarro (6-2, 4-6, 6-1), Krueger (6-4, 6-4), (13) Paolini (6-3, 6-2)[/p]
Noskova in 2026
[p]Best results: Berlin (title)[/p][p]Best results on grass: Berlin (title)[/p][p]Record: 27-11[/p][p]Record in the last 10 matches: 9-1[/p][p]Record on grass: 10-1[/p][p]Record against top-20 players: 5-3 (career 23-33)[/p][p]Record in Grand Slam semi-finals: 0-0 (career 0-0)[/p][p]Record in semi-finals: 1-1 (career 6-6)[/p][p]Grand Slams: Australian Open (round of 32), French Open (round of 128)[/p]
Noskova at Wimbledon
[p]Career record: 9-3[/p][p]Best result: semi-finals (2026)[/p][p]Last year's result: round of 16[/p][p]Record in semi-finals: 0-0[/p][p]Preparation: Berlin (title), Bad Homburg (round of 32)[/p][p]Road to the semi-finals: Seidel (6-4, 6-3), Osorio (6-3, 4-6, 6-2), (17) Cirstea (2-6, 6-3, 7-6), (26) Keys (6-4, 7-6), (25) Mertens (6-3, 7-5)[/p]
[a href="https://www.wimbledon.com/en_GB/scores/schedule/18"]Thursday's schedule[/a] | [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/tennis/wta-singles/wimbledon/results/"]Results[/a]
