Dutch clubs spent 66 million on agent fees in 24/25, Ajax lead with third of total

[p][a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/ajax/8UOvIwnb/"]Ajax[/a] spent a total of €21,411,506 on agent fees during the 2024/25 season, nearly a third of the €66,966,491 (taxes excluded) spent by clubs in the Dutch Eredivisie and Eerste Divisie. [/p][p]Ajax completed 23 transfers during the 2024/25 season, including 9 sales totalling €69,24 million. [/p][p][a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/psv/M9UEHJWi/"]PSV[/a] (€13,854,606) and [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/feyenoord/8zjySeoN/"]Feyenoord[/a] (€13,745,000) follow Ajax, with [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/az-alkmaar/2RxOow1i/"]AZ[/a] (€5,396,684) and [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/heerenveen/EDjXSyWG/"]Heerenveen[/a] (€2,060,000) the only other clubs in the Netherlands to spend at least €1.4 million on agent fees.[/p][p]In the second tier, [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/willem-ii/6u3qag0G/"]Willem II[/a] and [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/almere-city/IsK0b0aI/"]Almere City[/a], both of which were playing in the Eredivisie in 24/25, lead the league in agent fees. [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/excelsior/nNlLsRUr/"]Excelsior[/a] led the league with €469,414, nearly doubling second-placed [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/cambuur/QRyYgO7J/"]Cambuur Leeuwarden[/a] (€245,549).[/p][p][a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/telstar/Aw0qTPat/"]Telstar[/a] won promotion to the Eredivisie via the play-offs after spending the third-least on agent fees in the Eerste Divisie, totalling €47,510.[/p][p]Following FIFA's introduction of the FIFA Football Agent Regulations (FFAR), the KNVB has maintained a register of football agents registered with the FA since October 1st, 2023.
