Carlo Ancelotti extends Brazil contract through to 2030 World Cup

On Thursday, the CBF announced that coach Carlo Ancelotti had extended his contract for another four years. With this new deal, the Italian manager will remain in charge of the Brazilian national team until the 2030 World Cup.

[p]The decision comes a year after the former Real Madrid coach arrived in [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/brazil/I9l9aqLq/"]Brazil[/a], in May 2025, and less than a month before the 2026 World Cup.[/p][p]"[b]A year ago, I arrived in Brazil and realised what football means to this country. We are working to bring the national team back to the top of the world, but both the CBF and I want more.
