I think we showed that we are a strong team, and now we have to show it in the next game."[/p][infobox id="4ccc1b10-d68f-4c97-bcf4-5e613c17c2e3" /][p]Ndoye's goal in the 46th minute broke a barren run of three games for the winger. Whilst [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/vargas-ruben/U7XUxOei/"]Ruben Vargas[/a], Manzambi and Embolo have been stealing the limelight, he has persevered and was rewarded on Wednesday.[/p][p]"The last few weeks have not been easy for me," he admitted. "It was not what I was expecting since the first game of the group stage, but my mentality is to always work and help the team, and I continue to work even when I am not at my best, and I want to continue because I know I can do it even better."[/p][embed guid="32c68003-f150-42f7-82dd-4712bbb6269e" url="https://x.com/Flashscorecom/status/2072908310961930433" social-type="twitter" /][p]As part of a front four for [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/switzerland/rHJ2vy1B/"]Switzerland[/a], Ndoye and company were threatening on the break, and could have won by a larger margin.[/p][p]Speaking about the aforementioned quartet, he explained: "We have worked a lot in training to find this fluidity. When you find it in the game, it's the most important. Today, we found it, and we have to continue to find it in the other games."[/p][p]The brightest spark on the pitch was Manzambi. His assist for the first goal showed a star in the making, and his teammate was glowing when describing the Swiss number nine.[/p][p]Ndoye remarked: "What he's doing at his age is incredible. He's an incredible player for us, and he helps us to go to the next step... He makes us so much better, and we are really happy to have him in the team."[/p][p]Embolo was also complimentary of the 20-year-old, saying after the game: "I think 95% of the goal (Embolo's in the 10th minute) is Johan's. He had a, not a difficult week, but as a striker, when you have a lot of chances, and you don't score, you see everyone scoring left and right, you can get a little bit down, but Dan is a hard worker, and today he got the goal."[/p][p]Switzerland now have five days to recover and prepare ahead of their round of 16 back at BC Place on July 7th.[/p][p][a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/news/johan-manzambi-continues-to-light-up-world-cup-as-switzerland-march-on/4pwaiYpC/"]Read more about Manzambi's evening with Flashscore.[/a][/p][infobox id="79bb87c6-d26e-46c2-b1ec-7eec56479c0a" /]
