Last week, the Big Pete series from Flashscore and CANAL+ kicked off, where goalkeeper Petr Čech interviewed his longtime Chelsea teammate John Terry. We now continue with the second part, in which they discussed what it’s like to live with constant attention from fans, how sometimes rivalry spilled over even off the pitch, and why Terry never learned to say “no” to fans.

He also mentioned some advice from [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/zola-gianfranco/UDztVf85/"]Gianfranco Zola[/a] back when he was a young player.[/p][p]“You feel the pressure everywhere. The moment you walk into a restaurant or down the street, you know people recognise you. They want a photo, an autograph, they want to chat.[/p][p]"Zola once told me, ‘JT, there will come a day when people won’t want your autograph or your picture anymore. So never say no.’ And I remembered that.”[/p][p]The Chelsea legend also spoke about his childhood, his beginnings in football, and his journey to fame.[/p][p]“I started from nothing. My parents had no money, my dad worked hard, and I grew up on the streets. So when I suddenly started going to luxury restaurants and exclusive places, I felt a bit out of place there. Honestly, at the time I didn’t even realise how famous I really was.”[/p][p]The full television version of this episode of the Big Pete documentary series will be available on CANAL+ Sport and the CANAL+ streaming service in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, France, Poland, Myanmar, Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria, Romania, and Hungary, and on the SuperSport channel in Switzerland and South Africa.[/p]
