Nottingham Forest’s winless Premier League run extended to seven games (D4, L3) after they were held to a 0-0 draw by Fulham at the City Ground, leaving them only outside of the relegation zone on goal difference.

[p][a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/fulham/69ZiU2Om/"]Fulham[/a] had not conceded in the opening 15 minutes of a league game this season before kick-off, and while they kept that record intact, it was under threat when [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/anderson-elliott/KdYCbsbE/"]Elliot Anderson[/a] dangerously cut inside but fired his shot wide.[/p][p]The Cottagers had the best chance of the first half though, with two Nigerian teammates combining as [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/iwobi-alex/2L5gbR8M/"]Alex Iwobi[/a]’s free-kick found [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/bassey-calvin/faJVc0Mk/"]Calvin Bassey[/a], but [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/sels-matz/Qqo54dB7/"]Matz Sels[/a] kept out his close-range header.[/p][p][a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/nottingham/UsushcZr/"]Forest[/a] had further chances to score before half-time through [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/gibbs-white-morgan/beZNT1bB/"]Morgan Gibbs-White[/a] and [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/dominguez-nicolas/A7jPNAQT/"]Nicolas Dominguez[/a], but [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/leno-bernd/jwRV63z0/"]Bernd Leno[/a] got behind both efforts from the edge of the box, ensuring that the City Ground would see a level half-time scoreline for the fifth league match in succession.[/p][embed guid="84ed1152-f579-438e-8b0c-a1febdec8630" url="https://x.com/NFFC/status/2033192400282058943" social-type="twitter" /][p]With what was at stake, the Tricky Trees were determined to find the breakthrough in the second half, and [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/aina-ola/O28OebFA/"]Ola Aina[/a] was so close with a spectacular effort that smashed the crossbar.[/p][p]The City Ground was crying for a hero, and it seemed as though fate had delivered one for a few delirious moments, as [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/ndoye-dan/EmmpFCXN/"]Dan Ndoye[/a] had the ball in the net minutes later, after escaping the attentions of his marker and deftly firing into the corner.[/p][p]However, a quick review saw the goal chalked off, with barely an inch in the equation. [/p][image alt="Match stats" id="76b90022-e072-45ee-8fb0-3b6ad2eb9f61" credit-line="Opta by Stats Perform" guid="d09137fc-a960-465b-86fa-0bb70f0ab0eb" original-width="1080" original-height="1080" /][p]Yet, although Forest perhaps had some cause to curse their luck, they could have easily gone behind too when [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/rodrigo-muniz/A5ZlWABs/"]Rodrigo Muniz[/a]’s goalbound strike was headed off the line by Aina.[/p][p][a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/lukic-sasa/nwu2UvUA/"]Sasa Lukic[/a] then missed the post by a narrow margin with an attempt from the edge of the area, following a corner that Forest failed to clear. However, neither side had their shooting boots on in the final stages as both had to settle for a point each.[/p][p]Vitor Pereira is still searching for his first top-flight win as Forest boss as a result (D2, L2), while Marco Silva’s side have now only won once in six away trips (D2, L3), as they miss the chance to break into the top half. [/p][p]Flashscore Man of the Match: [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/aina-ola/O28OebFA/"]Ola Aina[/a] ([a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/nottingham/UsushcZr/"]Nottingham Forest[/a])[/p][image alt="Momentum" id="fa36b51d-5fa6-4543-9343-e931ab53d9bc" credit-line="Opta by Stats Perform" guid="f366b841-d77f-4882-8e58-7674742f5167" original-width="1920" original-height="1080" /]
[a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/game/soccer/fulham-69ZiU2Om/nottingham-UsushcZr/summary/stats/?mid=QLQeh39O"]Catch up on the match stats with Flashscore[/a]
