Farjestad go top of SHL by beating Skelleftea as Timra shock Frolunda

[p][a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/farjestad/4b1TBPb8/"]Farjestad[/a] had the benefit of five days' rest, while [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/skelleftea/8jdWygW7/"]Skelleftea[/a] had travelled to Czech Republic and back as they lost to [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/plzen/CMBTIThf/"]Plzen[/a] in the Champions Hockey League, and those factors appeared to play their part as FBK cruised to a [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/game/hockey/farjestad-4b1TBPb8/skelleftea-8jdWygW7/?mid=jysKy546"]5-1[/a] victory on the road - their fifth win in a row and sixth in seven this season.[/p][p][a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/aslund-per/hhypjnVS/"]Per Aslund[/a] and [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/lodin-viktor/tv3Kr385/"]Viktor Lodin[/a] had the visitors 2-0 up inside four minutes, and though [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/stjernborg-victor/IksTRyYi/"]Victor Stjernborg[/a] responded soon after with a shorthanded strike, that was as good as it got for SAIK as [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/berglund-jack/xCbot6Rh/"]Jack Berglund[/a] and Lodin again put Farjestad 4-1 up in the second period, before [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/wikman-albert/CnbPrnqr/"]Albert Wikman[/a] completed the scoring in the third. Frolunda drop to second, while Timra stay 14th on goal difference.[/p][p]Frolunda were also beaten in the Czech Republic earlier in the week, but few would have expected Timra to take advantage quite so fully, especially after [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/hasa-filip/lf1fmHoe/"]Filip Hasa[/a]'s goal had the Gothenburg side ahead after the opening period.
