Reigning Danish champions AGF bring back fan favorite to boost their midfield

Former AGF-midfielder Jens Jonsson returns to play for the reigning Danish champions, AGF, as he has joined the Aarhus club on a free transfer from AEK Athens.

Since then, he has also had stints with [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/cadiz/hdWjLJUJ/"]Cádiz[/a] in Spain and, most recently, [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/aek/ANpZncAM/"]AEK Athens[/a] in Greece.[/p][p]Now at 33 years old, he emphasizes that he is eager to prove himself: "I am still extremely hungry and have a lot to prove after a difficult final season in Greece," he says:[/p][p][b]"I’m coming home with valuable experience and am naturally a different player than when I left; I hope I can contribute to another successful season for the AGF team that performed so well last year."[/b][/p][p]Reigning champions AGF will kickstart their new Danish Superliga season on 25 July against Brondby[/p]
