Ronald Koeman praised the impact of Brian Brobbey but admitted there is still room for improvement after the Netherlands’ emphatic 5-1 World Cup victory over Sweden.

[p]The Oranje manager saw his tactical changes pay immediate dividends as [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/brobbey-brian/pfAvgQUT/"]Brian Brobbey[/a] struck twice inside the opening 17 minutes to put the Dutch firmly in control.[/p][p]Despite the convincing win, [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/koeman-ronald/vHeYAvb2/"]Koeman[/a] stressed that his side must continue to improve, while singling out Brobbey for special praise, particularly for his movement and finishing on the opening goal.[/p][p] "In that first goal was everything you want, we know that Brian is good at that," Koeman said. [/p][embed guid="4830fb97-dd49-4b43-b8b6-6ebaec83b37f" url="https://x.com/OnsOranje/status/2068440903182614538?s=20" social-type="twitter" /][p]"It starts with [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/verbruggen-bart/6PChQYLj/"]Bart Verbruggen[/a], who puts him away well. And then we have a lot of speed, and Brian is again in front of the goal. You can't make a more perfect goal, starting from the goalkeeper."[/p][p]The [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/netherlands/WYintcWb/"]Netherlands[/a] wrote World Cup history by remaining undefeated for a record 18th consecutive time, but even after becoming the eighth team to score 100 goals at the World Cup and beating [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/sweden/OQyqbHWB/"]Sweden[/a] [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/game/soccer/netherlands-WYintcWb/sweden-OQyqbHWB/?mid=0rAjVxuo"]5-1[/a], Koeman remained critical of his team.[/p][p]"Despite the 5-1 victory, you do see moments that if they start playing differently, it takes us too much time to recognise that, which meant we got into a little too much trouble."[/p][p]The Netherlands conclude their group-stage campaign on Thursday, June 25th (Friday, June 26th, at 01.00 CEST) against [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/tunisia/QqZVYk95/"]Tunisia[/a], whom they'll face at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, MO.[/p]
