Lig.[/p][p]Antalya have been regulars in Turkey's top division. They have been in the Super Lig since 2015, and have only spent one season in the 1. Lig since 2008/09. It is simply not good enough.[/p][p]This season, they turned to former player and manager Sergen Yalcin, who was in charge when they won the league in 2021, yet it hasn't had the desired effect.[/p][p]Fans have been protesting in recent weeks, with many calling out the manager and demanding his exit. As a result, he stepped down from his role in the last few days. Alongside Fenerbahce, they are now managerless, with the future totally unknown.[/p][p]There have often been question marks over Besiktas' recruitment, but I can't help feel the blame this time lies more at the feet of Sergen.
