Mikel Arteta hailed Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard for another match-winning moment as his goal sealed a 1-0 victory over Napoli on Wednesday, which the Gunners boss said did not reflect a "remarkable" performance from his side.

That helps.[/p][p]"Now he can start to occupy some different heights in the team, especially in the attacking phase. When we get him into those positions, he's a really dangerous player."[/p][embed guid="903c32db-fb3b-498f-8c7f-cf8cb6aa2da5" url="https://x.com/Arsenal/status/2097805322429837341" social-type="twitter" /][p]"What we need is players with that mindset to decide a game," he added.[/p][p]"To play with that personality, that if an action might not happen, the next one, the next one, keep taking chances and risks.[/p][p]"He's getting into those positions much more in recent games and you feel he has this emotional state that he knows the ball can go in, and he scored an incredible goal tonight."[/p]
Arsenal stay perfect
[p]Arsenal have started the season strongly, winning all three of their Premier League games after brushing [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/manchester-city/Wtn9Stg0/"]Manchester City[/a] aside in the Community Shield last month.[/p][p]"(I'm) very happy," said Arteta, who felt the result undersold the quality of his team's display in Naples.[/p][p]"The way we attacked the game from the very first minute, the way we competed, the clarity we had with how we had to attack them to disorganise them, the purpose, the quality. The amount of chances we generated.[/p][p]"For sure the scoreline has to reflect a very different result. We'll get there, because if we were a bit more precise it would have been much bigger.[/p][p]"But to do what we've done today in this stadium against this opponent, is remarkable from the team."[/p][embed guid="d4060b58-0479-4e1d-993c-1fde23e73627" url="https://x.com/Arsenal/status/2097797191075291241" social-type="twitter" /][p]For Napoli, the defeat marked another setback for new coach Massimiliano Allegri, whose side suffered a third consecutive loss in all competitions following Serie A reverses to [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/como/ttyLthOA/"]Como[/a] and [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/inter/Iw7eKK25/"]Inter[/a].[/p][p]Injuries to key players [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/mctominay-scott/A7S3y397/"]Scott McTominay[/a] and [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/anguissa-andre-zambo/OtLZCB8S/"]Andre-Frank Zambo[/a] Anguissa complicated matters for Allegri, who targeted three points in their next league game on Sunday.[/p][p]"To get back on track, we need a solid win against [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/bologna/0M9xNN8N/"]Bologna[/a], which won't be easy," Allegri said.[/p][p]"There is definitely some bitterness and disappointment; we are coming off three defeats.[/p][p]"I liked the performance technically, but in the second half we lacked the legs; (Billy) [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/gilmour-billy/MPhh66QA/"]Gilmour[/a] and ([a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/de-bruyne-kevin/MsPs6OI5/"]Kevin) De Bruyne[/a] were playing their first games.[/p][p]"We need to stay calm and collected. If we defended at certain points in the game like we did in the second half tonight, we might not have lost against Como and Inter."[/p][infobox id="45e615b0-e521-49e0-bf3c-9fb2423b8bed" /]
