Last summer, she made 26 aces in a win over Sofia Kenin in New Zealand. The WTA Tour record stands at 31 aces and was set by Czech [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/pliskova-kristyna/G6oDJsAU/"]Kristyna Pliskova[/a] in 2016.[/p][p]After one of the biggest triumphs in her career, Gibson will now face either compatriot [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/tomljanovic-ajla/hAR7VtG4/"]Ajla Tomljanovic[/a] or Italian [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/paolini-jasmine/noaX0EJn/"]Jasmine Paolini[/a] in the round of 16.[/p]
