Sirius go into the World Cup break having won nine and drawn one of their 10 Allsvenskan matches so far, with their latest a 3-0 away win over AIK. Elsewhere, managerless Malmo put five past Halmstad and GAIS cruised past Kalmar.

[p][a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/game/soccer/aik-lzqk4S68/sirius-vXr8fotG/?mid=nuyFhNgS"]AIK 0-3 Sirius[/a][/p][p]For the next 24 hours at least, [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/sirius/vXr8fotG/"]Sirius[/a] hold a 10-point lead at the top of the table after their outstanding campaign continued at Strawberry Arena, where they were on top against [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/aik/lzqk4S68/"]AIK[/a] from the off before [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/svensson-victor/CrQprN8h/"]Victor Svensson[/a] slipped the ball through for [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/ure-robbie/nwv3yIFM/"]Robbie Ure[/a], who got in behind an applied the 19th-minute finish.[/p][p]The Scotsman then made it a brace for himself in the final 10 minutes of the first half, as [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/krusnell-oscar/xKmgSxB7/"]Oscar Krusnell[/a]'s cutback found him on the edge of the area, and a big deflection carried Ure's shot past the goalkeeper for his seventh goal of the season.[/p][embed guid="8190b5d5-7a52-4300-a9f6-883656d16a0f" url="https://x.com/fotbollskanal/status/2060713529489928491" social-type="twitter" /][p]Things could have been different had [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/geiger-yannick/Qmi0GE6h/"]Yannick Geiger[/a]'s thunderous effort against the crossbar flown a few inches lower early in the second half, but Sirius kept their clean sheet and added a final flourish in added time, when [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/castegren-henrik/dnLAuAAT/"]Henrik Castegren[/a]'s free-kick sailed into the top corner.[/p][p]AIK failed to build on an away win at [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/hammarby/SQsg3nME/"]Hammarby[/a] last time out and sit 11th after their two-game unbeaten run was comprehensively ended.[/p][p][a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/game/soccer/halmstad-Mmsc26yL/malmo-ff-tYNTdpar/?mid=dEnK10Wr"]Malmo 5-2 Halmstad[/a][/p][p][a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/malmo-ff/tYNTdpar/"]Malmo[/a]'s decision to sack Miguel Angel Ramirez in midweek is paying dividends so far, as Himmelsblatt ended a four-game losing run with an impressive win over struggling [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/halmstad/Mmsc26yL/"]Halmstad[/a].[/p][p]It took less than four minutes to break the deadlock, as [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/skogmar-adrian/YDpjpqf7/"]Adrian Skogmar[/a] volleyed in after [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/sjostrand-oscar/fiqzQMgc/"]Oscar Sjostrand[/a]'s initial effort was blocked, only for Halmstad to prove it would take more than that to turn the hosts' fortunes around.[/p][p]Three minutes later, a low cross from the left was helped on by [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/kaib-rami/b3so6xxQ/"]Rami Kaib[/a] to [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/faraj-omar/zZzYi6hU/"]Omar Faraj[/a], whose shot took a huge deflection on its way in for the equaliser, and 20 minutes later, HBK were ahead when an [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/illary-marvin/hvP2Gqge/"]Marvin Illary[/a] was heading wide, only for Faraj to trap the shot and turn it into the net to silence Eleda Stadion.[/p][p]But the side under the temporary stewardship of [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/molins-guillermo/0hhZf7S7/"]Guillermo Molins[/a] and Mario Chavez got themselves level again after half an hour, when a deep cross was knocked back across goal by [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/larsen-jens/ldTYqKh3/"]Jens Stryger Larsen[/a], and after a couple of ricochets, sat up for [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/busuladzic-kenan/SI61iLsP/"]Kenan Busuladzic[/a] to hit from six yards.[/p][embed guid="e7ef5890-2e54-4169-b4db-dd5b19d41380" url="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oazj-mH1Q3s" social-type="youtube" /][p]After the topsy-turvy first half, the second period belonged to Malmo, and in particular to [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/botheim-erik/vLP0leRk/"]Erik Botheim[/a], who scored an eight-minute hat-trick to give MFF the victory. His first came at the hour, flicking a Sead [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/haksabanovic-sead/CbuYfCxP/"]Haksabanovic[/a] free-kick beyond the goalkeeper with his head.[/p][p]Then, a poor clearance from goalkeeper [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/ronning-tim/8hwrpeF6/"]Tim Ronning[/a] two minutes later was cut out by Busuladzic, allowing Botheim to loft the ball over the backtracking shot stopper, before he claimed the match ball when Sjostrand had an effort saved and the striker pounced on the rebound.[/p][p]Malmo are up to ninth for the time being following their first points since 27th April, while Halmstad remain off the bottom thanks to a better goal difference than [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/orgryte/CGT7Kq4j/"]Orgryte[/a].[/p][p][a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/game/soccer/gais-bJewAOTf/kalmar-rkrUu5ae/?mid=GfRpm1Hk"]GAIS 3-0 Kalmar[/a][/p][p]Back to winning ways and up to fifth in the standings are [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/gais/bJewAOTf/"]GAIS[/a], who needed late goals to seal the points at home to [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/kalmar/rkrUu5ae/"]Kalmar[/a], who remain without a point on the road this season.[/p][p]More trouble on their travels for Kalmar looked likely just six minutes in, when goalkeeper [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/brolin-samuel/hCDlFCsL/"]Samuel Brolin[/a] came for but didn't claim a [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/milovanovic-william/llrBEC4b/"]William Milovanovic[/a] cross, allowing [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/salter-samue/tlD1Pdte/"]Samuel Salter[/a] to turn it home at the back post.[/p][p]The visitors then had decent chances to score either side of the break, but their failing to take them was punished in the final 10 minutes, when [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/pettersson-oscar/MNHUAWOu/"]Oscar Pettersson[/a]'s cross was looped into his own net by [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/hallberg-melker/xtX1eEu6/"]Melker Hallberg[/a], before [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/lindberg-jonas/KEQffATg/"]Jonas Lindberg[/a]'s corner was headed home by [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/cardaklija-anes/rid6WUmf/"]Anes Cardaklija[/a].[/p][p]It's now just one league loss in eight for The Mackerels, while Kalmar sit 12th, three points clear of the bottom three.[/p][embed guid="4138a2e7-5bf1-4144-84c8-8b750e7d69a7"
