Whoever wants to pick up PSV star Ismael Saibari this upcoming summer will have to pay up to €75 million, director Earnest Stewart said on Wednesday.

[p][a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/saibari-ismael/WzSmqNMQ/"]Saibari[/a], 25, has been one of the most impactful players in the Eredivisie, scoring 14 goals and giving 8 assists as [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/psv/M9UEHJWi/"]PSV[/a] became the earliest-ever champions in the Dutch top tier.[/p][p]If it's up to PSV director Earnest Stewart, Saibari will leave PSV for 70 to 75 million euros, like manager Peter Bosz suggested in the post-match conference following PSV's 4-3 win over [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/utrecht/p6QXMgOj/"]FC Utrecht[/a] on Saturday.[/p][p]"You hear through the grapevine what other clubs are asking for some players. He’s one of the best players in the Dutch league. So it’s no surprise that we’re also holding out for a high price. That seems logical to me," Stewart told [a href="https://www.espn.nl/voetbal/artikel/_/id/16540702/stewart-over-transfersom-saibari-lijkt-me-logisch-dat-we-hoog-in-de-boom-gaan-zitten"]ESPN[/a].[/p][embed guid="0e034d24-f057-4dc6-929c-732b72e02bce" url="https://x.com/ESPNnl/status/2040443489679270309?s=20" social-type="twitter" /][p]"Ultimately, we’ll see how things pan out and what kind of interest comes in, but it’s clear that he’s one of the standout players in the Eredivisie. We won’t let him leave just like that.”[/p][p]The money generated from Saibari's transfer will be used to get a replacement for captain [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/schouten-jerdy/lYVHp6x4/"]Jerdy Schouten[/a], Stewart said. Schouten tore his ACL against FC Utrecht and faces a long absence while also missing the upcoming FIFA World Cup.[/p][p]“Jerdy picked up an injury on Saturday and we won the title on Sunday. It’s now Tuesday, so we’ll know more about it in the coming days. But it’s clear that he’ll be out of action for a while, so we’ll have to adapt to that.”[/p]
