Nottingham Forest confirm shock exit of Pereira with Glasner set to replace him

Nottingham Forest have confirmed the shock exit of manager Vitor Pereira with former Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner set to replace him.

[p]The 57-year-old was brought in after Sean Dyche and became their fourth manager of the season, helping the club seal Premier League survival.[/p][p]Pereira did just that, but [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/nottingham/UsushcZr/"]Forest[/a] have now confirmed his dismissal with a statement which reads: [i]“[/i][b]Nottingham Forest can confirm that Vítor Pereira has left his role as Head Coach following the Club’s decision to exercise a mutual break clause in his contract.[/b][/p][p][i]“[/i]His coaching staff – Filipe Almeida, Luis Miguel, Bruno Moura, Marco Knoop and Pedro Lopes – have also left the Club.[/p][p][b]“We would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Vítor and his team for their hard work and commitment throughout their time at the Club. [/b][/p][embed guid="4cb798ee-2cc1-4233-a5a1-293760798278" url="https://x.com/NFFC/status/2072727354586042734" social-type="twitter" /][p][b]“They represented Forest with enormous dedication, helping to secure the Club’s status in the Premier League, guiding the squad to the semi-finals of the UEFA Europa League, and providing us with the foundations upon which we will continue to build.[/b][/p][p]“Everyone at Nottingham Forest is grateful for their considerable efforts and for the relationships they forged with our players, staff and supporters.  [/p][p]“We thank them all for their service and wish them every success in the next stage of their careers.”[/p][p]It has been widely reported that former [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/crystal-palace/AovF1Mia/"]Crystal Palace[/a] manager Glasner will come in to replace the Portuguese coach.[/p]
