Red Wings give up a haul to acquire Justin Faulk in trade with Blues

The Detroit Red Wings acquired defenseman Justin Faulk from the St. Louis Blues in a trade deal on Friday.

[p]In exchange, the [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/st-louis-blues/KSAayVoi/"]Blues[/a] received a 2026 first-round draft pick, a 2026 third-round draft pick, defenseman [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/holl-justin/vkyLymNd/"]Justin Holl[/a], and left wing Dmitri Buchelnikov.[/p][p][a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/faulk-justin/SITqmE9n/"]Faulk[/a], 33, has 11 goals and 21 assists through 61 games this season. He spent the first eight years of his career with the [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/carolina-hurricanes/Sx0gl0tm/"]Carolina Hurricanes[/a], then the following seven with the Blues.
