Gordon bags first Barcelona goal in comfortable victory over Getafe

[p][a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/kounde-jules/v36QVRPu/"]Jules Kounde[/a] has already matched his LaLiga goal haul of last season, after rounding off the scoring for LaLiga holders [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/barcelona/SKbpVP5K/"]Barcelona[/a] in a 3-0 win over [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/getafe/dboeiWOt/"]Getafe[/a] at the Nou Camp, duly stretching their perfect start with a 23rd successive home league victory.[/p][p]Defensive solidity has been Getafe’s selling point in the infancy of this LaLiga season, but their resistance was broken inside the opening two minutes.[/p][p]The hosts had Getafe pinned firmly inside their own half, but were still perhaps a little lucky in how the opener came about, as [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/gordon-anthony/EFo95m2P/"]Anthony Gordon[/a] fortuitously collected the ball on the edge of his area, and then saw his strike deflect off a Getafe defender, subsequently wrong-footing [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/soria-david/2VpTGXlE/"]David Soria[/a].[/p][embed guid="8e3bb692-9bfd-4e61-8a91-4c08597d794e" url="https://x.com/LaLigaEN/status/2108961855943086153" social-type="twitter" /][p]Only a last-ditch [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/gudelj-nemanja/SKLFEpf6/"]Nemanja Gudelj[/a] block denied [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/olmo-dani/2oVBOlPg/"]Dani Olmo[/a] what would’ve been a certain goal, as Barcelona sought a second.
