The club announced this a day after the final match of the season, which ended in [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/game/soccer/eintracht-frankfurt-8vndvXTk/stuttgart-nJQmYp1B/?mid=rXgzQbWH"]a 2-2 draw[/a] against Stuttgart.[/p][p]The separation had already been considered likely: Riera lacked support within the club environment, and for the first time in six years, Eintracht missed out on qualifying for European competition.[/p][p]Sporting director Markus Krosche had repeatedly avoided making a commitment to the Spaniard in recent weeks. Albert Riera and Eintracht Frankfurt are going their separate ways. According to the club’s official announcement, the Spaniard and his team are leaving with immediate effect. It is currently unclear who will take over at the Bundesliga club.
